Little Airplane Academy: We've just completed our latest 3-day Little Airplane Academy workshop, “How to Make a Great Preschool Series."  To date, we have taken the Academy on the road to fantastic places like London, Norway, and Qatar.  Our next scheduled Academy will take place at our beautiful studio at the South Street Seaport in New York City on February 19, 20 and 21.  We hope to see you there!  For more information about the Little Airplane Academy,  please click the ACADEMY link on our HOME PAGE.



"The Olive Branch"  Little Airplane has begun a new non-profit initiative called “Little Light Foundation.”   The foundation’s goal is to create content that will help children all over the world learn about tolerance and mutual respect.  The foundation’s first creative endeavor is a new animated series, “The Olive Branch” about two very different characters who overcome their differences in the branches of a lovely olive tree.  Our first three beautiful segments made their world debut on Nickelodeon's global channels in June and are currently appearing on several other channels around the world.  For more information about Little Light Foundation and "The Olive Branch" click here.



"Small Potatoes" We are currently in production on “Small Potatoes” a new short form animated series about four adorable potatoes who sing to celebrate their imagination!  Each episode features a new song written in an entirely different musical style.  No genre is safe from these spuds!  The Potatoes made their big screen debut at the 12th annual BAMKids International Film Festival where  “Imagination (Give it a Try)” won a BAMmie for Best Short Film for ages 2-5.  The "Small Potatoes" will make their broadcast TV debut in Spring of 2011 on Cbeebies!



"The Wonder Pets!" was honored with THREE 2010 Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition" "Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program" and "Outstanding Original Song"  Our show also recently won the prestigious Japan Prize/Maeda Award for Best Television Series! We’ve just completed production on two very special 1/2 hour episodes of our award-winning show.

"Tobi!" We’ve completed production on 4 x 4:00 episodes of our brand new short form series “Tobi!”  This is a show about a little boy who wants to make his rather unusual world a better place to live.  Each story is a visual poem that helps preschoolers understand pressing global issues.  “Tobi!” made its world premiere on UNICEF’S International Children's Day of Broadcasting on Nickelodeon Australia and Treehouse TV/Canada.  "Tobi!" can soon be seen on NRK in Norway and Nick Asia.



YMCA Strong Kids Campaign: Little Airplane recently donated its services to the YMCA of Greater New York to produce a series of public service announcements featuring award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden for the organization’s Strong Kids campaign.  The PSAs are currently airing nationwide.  Keep an eye out for them!
